This week of finals has been especially trying... On Sunday I was at my parents' house after church and I'm not sure how it happened but I hurt my back really badly. I just stood up from eating and it started aching like crazy! I've never had back problems, but now I have so much respect for people who do. It's completely debilitating and so so painful. So on Sunday and Monday I was finishing up my research paper for stats and just icing and heating my back when I could. On my way home from turning in my paper, my car broke down at the top of our hill. It just started making these crazy noises, like someone was punching a baboon! haha (That's from an Eddie Izzard skit). So I walked the rest of the way home, and had to study all night for a final the next day at 8AM. We haven't had time to see what is wrong with my car yet, so I will be driving my mom's car for the next few days.
ANYWAY, I have been watching The Bachelorette this season, and it is just driving me crazy! Ashley (the bachelorette) liked this guy Bentley, who is a total creep-o jerk who was just trying to mess with her heart, and he left the show last episode (thank goodness). The thing that bothers me so much about it is that the show producers LET THIS HAPPEN! They knew he was there to hurt her and break her heart, and they let him on the show, probably just so they could get good ratings and get more people to watch. So now she is left heartbroken, and I really don't think there are that many good guys to choose from now. None of the guys have stood out to me this season. This guy is probably my front-runner right now:

He has been really nice to Ashley, and he has this calmness about him that I really like. He seems very sincere and that he is really there for her.I used to like this guy:
He was funny and sweet the first episode, then in the second episode he started making weird jokes around the house, and telling the other guys how amazing their date was, and then the third episode came along... and THIS happened:
First of all, I think a roast is a really bad idea, and Ashley was bound to get her feelings hurt in some way. All the boob jokes were kind of hurtful too, and then WILLIAM... what an idiot. He said that he was hoping it would be Emily or Chantel, and it was only Ashley. I thought he was going to get kicked off last night, but nope. He's still here.
Some other guys who are okay:
Ben C. - I thought he was a lot of fun on their flash mob dancing date, but then he started talking at dinner and WOW... that man can talk. He's a lawyer, so that might explain some of it. I think he's a cutie though, and maybe there's more to explore there.
Ames. I don't know what it is about Ames, but I really like him. I think he's kind of an underdog in the competition because he's very reserved and quiet, but I like that about him. He's also very intelligent and motivated, like Ashley. I'm hoping for some sparks between them soon!
I don't really like any of the rest of them. I liked Ryan P. for a while, but now I think they just do not really mesh well. He's just too nice, and from the previews it seems like he's going to have some weird secret. I don't like Mickey at all... I don't see why she thinks he's so cute. Neal thinks he looks like a vampire. haha! The rest of the guys are just kind of dull and boring so far. There really are not many standouts.
