Statistics=Nightmare

So I've been taking Sociology 312, which is a statistics class required for my major. It is not supposed to be hard, and several of my friends have taken it and had no problem. Well... I happened to get the world's WORST professor this term! He is so unclear and makes us do this computer program that none of the other stats professors use, and he makes us do this BIG research paper worth 30% of our grade! He is the only one who requires a paper for his class, and it is just a big joke! Not only that, when anyone asks any questions in class he treats them terribly! He acts like we should just know the answer and be able to read his mind... I'm seriously so fed up with this class... it's the worst one I've ever taken in college. Anyway, the paper is due Monday and I haven't started it yet. I just CANNOT motivate myself to work on it right now, and I'm really going to be hating myself for it tomorrow. Oh well.

Today Neal and I spent the morning cleaning our house from head to toe, and then at 4pm we had a BBQ with some friends we hadn't seen for a REALLY long time! Amber Drake just got home from her mission in SLC, and it was awesome to see her and hear about her time there. She is such a sweetheart and I've really missed her. Kent Blair also just got back from his mission and came over tonight! He was serving in Virginia. I forgot how funny and random that kid is. He is seriously one of my favorites! Keke and Devin came over too. They live in town but I never get to see them because we're all so busy. I was really excited because Michael Woodmansee came over as well! Jenni couldn't make it because she was doing something called Stamp Camp with the Relief Society (I have no idea what that is), but I was happy that Michael came and got to know everyone. Jenni and Michael are going to be in town for the summer, and I am really excited! Here in Springfield there aren't a whole lot of young married couples to hang out with, so we're going to have fun hanging out with them this summer! The BBQ was great... we have had no social life lately with school and work, and it was just a nice break. And now here comes finals week... I can do this!

Neal bought a long board from a guy on craigslist today and he's really excited about it. I am excited for him, but I get nervous too. I think I've just seen too many videos of people crashing on skateboards and really hurting themselves. I want him to wear a helmet... and body pads... and maybe a seat belt. =)

I'm feeling pretty good about this summer. I'm hoping to get a lot of tutoring jobs. It's so fulfilling to help kids read, write, and do math. It makes me feel like I'm really making a difference for them. I'm excited for vacations and trips... but not excited for my 4 weeks of summer school from July to August... BOO!! What was I thinking?? Oh yeah, I was thinking that I want to finally GRADUATE COLLEGE! haha. It will be worth it, and I'll be glad I took summer classes once they are over.

I can't wait to go here:
AND here!
YES!!! August cannot come soon enough!
